Crew Member

Job Responsibilities

Work under the direction of a crew leader and with a dedicated team to achieve daily production goals

Participate in weekly “toolbox talks” crew meetings as well company safety meetings; comply with all established safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE as necessary/recommended.

Assist with the installation of landscaping materials such as, but not limited to, loam, mulch, sod, aggregates and safe handling and care of plant materials.

Assist with the installation of hardscape materials such as, but not limited to, concrete pavers, natural stone pavers, concrete, various types of fieldstone, granite/stone slabs, wood timbers, metal edge, etc;

Ensure properties and job sites are kept clean and tidy, are free of trash or construction debris, hand tools/small equipment are clean and put away safely and items in the company vehicle are organized and properly stowed away.

Ability to independently use selective hand tools, power tools and small equipment in a safe and proper manner once trained on their usage.

Report issues with hand tools, power tools and small equipment or job site hazards to the crew leader.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are hard-working and enjoy working outdoors

Willingness to work in all types of weather (heat, rain, cold)

Willingness to work some Saturdays as workload and weather during busiest times of year may dictate

Ability to following directions, stay motivated, work safely and efficiently

More senior positions require experience as well as licensing to drive and operate a crew truck and property licensing/certification to operate landscape equipment

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (some Saturdays as needed)

Supplemental Pay Types: Bonus pay

Experience: Landscape: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: driver's license (Preferred); hoisting license/certification for forklifts or front end loaders and/or excavators (Preferred)
